When we set up Cooper Perkins years ago, we saw it as a figurative room in our lives where we could do our work. At Cooper Perkins, we designed all sorts of products, developed remarkable technologies, built amazing machines and friendships, created experiences, honed our skills, built our careers and our confidence, and delivered exceptional value to our clients. Named for the antique house in which it was founded, it was never really about the company name. It was about our chosen vocation and having a place to do the creative engineering design work we dedicated our professional lives to. It was our core value that bound us together; it is our core value that continues to bind us together.

After 20 fabulous years of operating as an independent company, Cooper Perkins was acquired by PA Consulting at the end of 2020. I was immediately attracted to PA because I imagined that PA is today what Cooper Perkins might, with time and good fortune, have one day become. PA felt like the future - our future. Now, everything that was great about Cooper Perkins is fully integrated into this great, multi-disciplinary, multi-dimensional company - and we are taking our final step of integration. The last vestige of Cooper Perkins, its website, is now being retired. Fret not - you can still find that great content, and more, on PA’s website.

Cooper Perkins was a wonderful home where we did so much wonderful work with so many wonderful people. So, it is with all the practical, pensive wistfulness of Marie Kondo, I say ‘…thank you for your service, Cooper Perkins’. We will be at work, doing what we love, at PA.
