Matt is pathologically curious.

He is intent on making innovative devices better by using experimentation and observation to discover how well they work. As an electrical engineer, he strives to discover the answers to limitations, and then applies these lessons to design electronics that work in harmony with the user experience. He has built a wide breadth of products, from embedded systems development for large medical equipment to small battery-powered consumer devices. In all these endeavors, he strives to discover the independent variables that increase the overall function of product capability, then uses these discoveries to design elegant solutions.

After earning an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, Matt worked at various bay area enterprises and startups before joining Cooper Perkins in San Francisco.
