Chris is creative.
Chris sees life as a string of opportunities to invent and solve. In creating mission critical equipment or gear to enable crazy adventures, in building prototypes to test an idea or helping build the next generation of engineers, and in crafting products to last years or carving pumpkins to last a day, the joy for Chris is the same: finding the tools and techniques to shape materials and ideas into something great that didn’t exist before. And through many cycles of design, manufacturing, and customer support, Chris has learned that the most creative engineering solutions concentrate on the user, but also address the many people who will build, see, sell, and service them.
Chris earned a B.S. in Product Design Engineering from Stanford prior to serving as a US Naval Officer for 4 years. He joined Cooper Perkins from Light & Motion, where he led development of high performance lighting for cyclists and scuba divers.
